Wondering if you need a directors ID? ASIC has introduced new laws that state all new directors must register themselves.
What is required?
A director ID is a unique 15-digit identifier that’s free to apply for and kept forever. It identifies you as a director of Australian company, registered Australian body or Australian registered foreign company.
You must apply for a director ID yourself as it is linked to your identity, as you can apply via abrs.gov.au/directorID
